SoftIron proudly partners with Kirra services, a majority owned and Supply Nation certified Indigenous business service provider

London, UK – (March 10, 2020) – SoftIron Ltd., the leader in purpose-built and performance-optimised data center appliances, today announced the appointment of Kirra services as their first authorised Australian reseller. The strategic partnership is set to deliver on both SoftIron’s APAC expansion strategy and the goal of Kirra services to develop better opportunities for indigenous participation in the IT industry.

Earlier this year, SoftIron announced their APAC expansion strategy with the intent to disrupt the enterprise storage sector in the region with their task-specific, performance optimized data center appliances. An enterprise reseller program is now in motion to support their growth plans. Established in 2017, Kirra services is a majority owned and Supply Nation certified Indigenous business service provider located in Canberra, Australia, and is the ideal first reseller for the group.

“We’re incredibly proud to sign the partnership with Kirra services. Their reputation, localised market expertise and track record for success were key factors for us in selecting our first authorised reseller in the region, and we’re really looking forward to achieving mutual success”, says Paul Harris, Director of Regional Sales.

Phil Straw, CEO, also attests to the opportunity and says that “The APAC storage sector is ripe for disruption and with Kirra services on board to represent our technology in Australia, we’re going to be making big waves together.”

“SoftIron has introduced a unique and cutting edge data center storage product into the market which is very interesting to us as a reseller in Australia,’ says Brad Nagle, Founder and Managing Director at Kirra services. “We share a vision for building trusted relationships and delivering genuine value for our customers and I am very excited to see the outcome of our combined approach.”

SoftIron acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands which Kirra services operates and pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging – and the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the greater Canberra community.
